Stains happen, especially during your wedding day! Over time stains, sweat, and dirt can start to deteriorate and yellow your dress, which is why it is important to get your dress cleaned soon after your big day. Ette is proud to partner with a wedding dress specialist that specializes in the eco-friendly cleaning and preservation of wedding gowns. We accept all types of gowns, even ones that we did not alter! Find out more below about the different cleaning and preservation options we have available:

• Standard Preservation

  • After being thoroughly cleaned, gowns are carefully wrapped in a muslin cloth with acid-free tissue layered between the folds and placed in an acid-free, museum quality archival wedding chest. Also, included inside the chest is a pair of white gloves for you to use when handling your dress.

• Ballgown Preservation -

  • This package is the same as the standard preservation, but the wedding chest is large enough to fit a ballgown.

• Clean Only After Wedding

  • If you are just wanting your dress cleaned, this is the option for you.

• Clean Only Before Wedding

  • If your dress was a sample dress or worn once before, this is to have your dress cleaned before you walk down the aisle. We recommend getting this done before you come in for your first fitting.

Get in touch with us to discuss your options! If your dress is silk or is heavily soiled, there will be an extra $50 added to your total cost. Once we receive your dress it can take up to 12 to 16 weeks to allow time for shipping to and from our specialist, as well as the cleaning and preservation. If you are needing your dress sooner, let us know as we may be able to get it in a shorter timeline!
